Prepare the Beans
- Rinse green beans and pat thoroughly dry with a towel to ensure a proper blister. Trim the stem ends.
- In a large bowl, toss beans with 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil, salt, and cracked black pepper until glistening.
Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place beans in the basket and cook for 6 minutes.
- Open the basket, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Shake well to distribute and cook for an additional 2-4 minutes.
- Remove when beans show dark brown charred skins and garlic is lightly toasted. Transfer to a charcoal grey bowl and serve immediately.
