- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and finely chopped onion until beef is browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the garlic powder, ketchup, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Without separating the rolls, slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the bottom rolls. Layer the cheddar cheese slices on top of the beef.
- Place the top half of the rolls onto the cheese layer.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and Worcestershire sauce. Brush the mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
- Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
Tip 1: To prevent soggy bottoms, make sure to drain the beef mixture very well.
Tip 2: Feel free to add a layer of dill pickle slices on top of the cheese before adding the top buns for extra classic cheeseburger flavor.
Tip 3: These sliders can be assembled a few hours in advance. Cover and refrigerate, then add the butter topping just before baking.
