Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough sheet onto a lightly floured surface. If using a perforated sheet, gently press the seams to seal them into a single rectangle.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, mini pepperoni, and Italian seasoning.
- Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
- Place the pizza bites on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic powder. Brush the mixture over the top of each bite.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the bites cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes
Tip 1: Don't overfill the bites, or they will be difficult to roll and may become soggy.
Tip 2: For extra festive shapes, you can arrange the pinwheels into a Christmas tree or wreath shape on the baking sheet before baking.
Tip 3: Feel free to customize with other toppings like finely chopped bell peppers, onions, or cooked sausage.
