Marinade and Prep
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, honey, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish. Pour about 3/4 of the marinade over the fillets, reserving the rest. Marinate for 15-30 minutes.
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place salmon on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until flaky.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-6 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high. Grill salmon for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Drizzle the reserved marinade over the cooked salmon and serve immediately.

Do not marinate the salmon for more than 30 minutes, as the lime juice will begin to cure the fish.
