- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Beat with a hand mixer or spatula until smooth and no lumps remain.
- Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Gently fold in 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and the sliced green onions.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Garnish with remaining cheese and green onions before serving.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the dip mixture to a small baking dish. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Garnish with green onions before serving.
