Ingredients
  

  • 2 English cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste

Method
 

  1. Wash, dry, and thinly slice the cucumbers and red onion. Place them in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, fresh dill, fresh chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the dressing over the sliced cucumbers and onions. Gently toss until everything is well-coated.
  4. For best results, cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled.
