Craft Materials
  • 2 oz (56g) Pastel Pink Fiberfill Hand-pulled for wispy texture
  • 2 oz (56g) Sky Blue Fiberfill Hand-pulled for airy texture
  • 6.5 ft (2m) LED Fairy Lights Battery-operated, warm white
  • 1 Silver Metal Screw-Top Lid Standard mason jar lid

Equipment

  • 1 32 oz Mason Jar Clear glass with silver lid
  • 1 Wooden Skewer For fluffing fibers
  • 2 Clear Adhesive Dots To secure battery pack

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wipe the interior of the clear mason jar with a microfiber cloth to remove all dust and streaks.
  2. Hand-stretch the pink and blue fiberfill until it looks wispy and semi-transparent, mimicking spun sugar.
Assembly
  1. Alternate layers of pink and blue pulled fiberfill, weaving the LED fairy lights between the tufts as you go.
  2. Use adhesive dots to stick the battery pack to the inside of the silver lid, then screw the lid onto the jar.

Notes

Ensure fiberfill is fluffed, not packed, to allow light to travel.
Use lithium batteries for a brighter, longer-lasting glow.
