Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the turkey tails dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the turkey tails. Sprinkle the spice mixture all over, ensuring even coating. Rub spices in with your hands.
- Arrange turkey tails in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, or until cooked through and tender, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from oven, let rest for 5-10 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
