  • 2 lbs turkey tails about 2-3 tails
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the turkey tails dry with paper towels. Place them in a large bowl.
  • In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the turkey tails. Sprinkle the spice mixture all over, ensuring even coating. Rub spices in with your hands.
  • Arrange turkey tails in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, or until cooked through and tender, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove from oven, let rest for 5-10 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
