  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour or gluten-free alternative
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken dry and cut into 1-inch cubes. In a medium bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken in the basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway, until crispy.
  4. While chicken cooks, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30-60 seconds until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan and chopped parsley.
  5. Transfer the hot, cooked chicken to a large bowl. Pour the warm garlic parmesan sauce over the top and toss gently to coat. Serve immediately.
