Ingredients
  

Naan Components
  • 2 cups Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour 280g; must contain xanthan gum
  • 1 tbsp Psyllium Husk Powder 9g; for pliability
  • 1 packet Instant Yeast 7g
  • 1 tsp Sugar 5g; to feed yeast
  • 3/4 cup Warm Water 180ml; approx 110F
  • 1/2 cup Vegan Greek-Style Yogurt 120g; unsweetened
  • 3 tbsp Vegan Butter 45g; melted for brushing
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley 8g; finely chopped
  • 1 pinch Flaky Sea Salt For garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Cast Iron Skillet Essential for high-heat charring.
  • 1 Rolling Pin To flatten dough to 1/4 inch thickness.

Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let stand for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Combine flour, psyllium, yogurt, and yeast mixture. Knead into a smooth, pale cream-colored dough.
Proofing and Shaping
  1. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 60 minutes until puffy.
  2. Divide into 6 balls and roll into 1/4 inch thick circles.
Cooking
  1. Cook in a hot, dry skillet for 1 minute until toasted golden bubbles appear. Flip and cook until dark brown leopard spots form.
  2. Immediately brush with melted vegan butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley and sea salt flakes.
