  • 1.5 lbs Jumbo Shrimp (16/20 count) peeled and deveined, tail-on
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) Honey raw or clover
  • 4 cloves Garlic finely minced
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Extra Virgin Olive Oil for coating shrimp
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) Dried Red Pepper Flakes for garnish
  • 2 tbsp (5g) Fresh Italian Parsley finely chopped
  • 1 large Lemon cut into wedges

Equipment

  • 10 Wooden Skewers Soaked in water for 30 mins
  • 1 Silicone Basting Brush For applying glaze
  • 1 Outdoor Grill or Grill Pan Preheated to 400°F

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Submerge wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
  2. Simmer honey, garlic, and soy sauce in a small pan for 3-5 minutes until thick and amber.
Grilling
  1. Thread four jumbo shrimp onto each skewer, ensuring a tight curl. Pat dry and brush with olive oil.
  2. Place skewers on a hot grill (400°F). Cook for 2-3 minutes until dark char marks appear.
  3. Flip the skewers and generously brush with the honey garlic glaze. Cook for 2 more minutes until translucent and succulent.
