  • 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls 12-count pack
  • 12 oz (340g) sliced deli ham thinly sliced and folded
  • 6 oz (170g) Swiss cheese sliced
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp (7g) dried minced onion
  • 1 tbsp (9g) black poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp (15g) Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Worcestershire sauce

Method
 

Assembly
  1. Slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a white ceramic baking dish.
  2. Fold the ham slices and layer them thickly over the bread. Top with the Swiss cheese slices, allowing them to hang slightly over the edges.
Glazing and Baking
  1. Whisk melted butter, mustard, Worcestershire, poppy seeds, and minced onion until emulsified.
  2. Cover with the top bun slab and brush on the glaze. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5-8 more minutes until mahogany brown.
