  • 2 lbs bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs about 4-5 thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper optional
  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and place them in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, low-sodium soy sauce, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
  3. Pour half of the honey garlic sauce over the chicken thighs. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Brush the remaining sauce over the chicken. Turn the oven to broil and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the glaze is bubbly and caramelized. Watch closely to prevent burning.
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
