Method
- Gently warm 2 cups of filtered water in a pot. It should be warm and comfortable to drink, not boiling. Let it cool for a minute after heating.
- Pour the warm water into a glass or mug. Add ¼ to ½ teaspoon of pink salt and stir until it has completely dissolved.
- Stir in 1-2 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice and the optional teaspoon of raw honey until fully combined.
- Sip your japanese pink salt drink recipe slowly, preferably on an empty stomach. For a refreshing twist, allow it to cool and serve over ice.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality, unrefined pink salt and fresh lemon juice. This drink is most effective when consumed first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Listen to your body and start with a smaller amount of salt. Variations can include adding a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar or a slice of fresh ginger.
