Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz Andouille sausage sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium head cabbage chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened and cubed
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the sliced sausage. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until nicely browned. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Add the butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring often, until the cabbage is tender-crisp.
  4. Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream and cream cheese, whisking until the cream cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat and gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it's completely melted into the sauce.
  6. Return the cooked sausage to the skillet. Add the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until the cabbage and sausage are fully coated in the creamy Alfredo sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
