- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with a large piece of parchment paper. Place the salmon fillet, skin-side down, in the center of the parchment.
- Pat the salmon fillet completely dry with a paper towel. Drizzle with olive oil and use your hands to rub it over the entire surface. Season generously with kosher salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, and chopped fresh dill.
- Pour the lemon-dill mixture evenly over the top of the salmon fillet. Arrange the thin lemon slices over the mixture in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork or a thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 145°F. Serve immediately.
