- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips and 1 cup of the M&Ms.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of M&Ms on top. Bake for 22-26 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing.
