Ingredients
  

Oreo Crust
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
Cream Cheese Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip) thawed, divided
Chocolate Pudding Layer
  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
Topping
  • 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip) thawed
  • 2 tbsp festive sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup holiday M&Ms

Method
 

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 8 oz of thawed whipped topping. Spread this mixture over the chilled Oreo crust.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until it begins to thicken. Immediately spread over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the pudding to set.
  5. Top with the remaining 8 oz of whipped topping. Garnish with festive sprinkles and holiday M&Ms.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before slicing and serving.
