Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Nutella or other chocolate-hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 cup Milk whole milk recommended for creaminess
  • 1 cup Hot brewed strong coffee or 2 shots of espresso
  • Whipped cream for topping, optional
  • Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for garnish, optional

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan over low-medium heat, combine the milk and Nutella. Whisk continuously until the Nutella is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth. Do not boil.
  2. While the milk mixture is warming, brew 1 cup of strong coffee or prepare 2 shots of espresso.
  3. Pour the hot coffee into a mug. Add the warm Nutella-milk mixture. Use a handheld milk frother to whisk until the drink is light and foamy.
  4. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder or chocolate shavings, if desired. Serve immediately.
