Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 750 ml Moscato Wine Chilled, preferably Moscato d'Asti
  • 1/2 cup Peach Schnapps Or peach brandy
  • 3 large Yellow Peaches Ripe, sliced into thin crescents
  • 1 cup Red Raspberries Fresh and whole
  • 1/2 cup Blueberries Fresh and whole
  • 2 cups Square Ice Cubes Large cubes for slow melting
  • 1 sprig Fresh Mint For aromatic garnish

Equipment

  • 1 Tall Clear Glass Pitcher Ensures visual layers are visible
  • 1 Long-handled Bar Spoon For gentle stirring
  • 1 Chef's Knife To create thin crescent slices

Method

Assembly
  1. Wash the yellow peaches and cut them into thin, uniform crescent-shaped slices, leaving the skin on for visual appeal.
  2. In a tall clear pitcher, layer the large square ice cubes with the peach crescents, red raspberries, and blueberries. Pack them tightly so the fruit remains suspended.
  3. Pour the peach schnapps over the ice, followed by the entire bottle of chilled Moscato wine.
  4. Gently lift the mixture with a bar spoon once. Tuck a fresh mint sprig into the top and serve immediately on a wooden surface as condensation forms.

Notes

Use chilled wine to prevent the ice from melting too quickly.
Do not over-stir if you want to keep the wine translucent and golden.
