Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs shaved ribeye steak Thinly sliced
  • 1 large yellow onion Thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper Thinly sliced
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 package (12-count) slider buns Such as King's Hawaiian
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt Or to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp butter Melted, divided
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried parsley

Equipment

  • 1 Large Skillet
  • 1 9x13 inch Baking Dish
  • 1 Pastry Brush

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom section in the dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers and cook until softened, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add the shaved steak. Season with salt, pepper, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Cook until browned, breaking it up as you go. Drain excess grease.
  4. Return vegetables to the skillet with the steak. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and mix well.
  5. Spoon the steak mixture evenly over the bottom buns. Top with provolone cheese slices, then place the top half of the buns on.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the remaining 3 tablespoons of melted butter, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush this mixture over the tops of the sliders.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let the sliders rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
