Method
- Pour the warm water into a glass. Avoid using boiling water, as it can destroy the beneficial enzymes in the optional honey and lemon.
- Add the Himalayan pink salt and stir until it has completely dissolved.
- Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice and add honey, if using. Stir again.
- Sip slowly on an empty stomach, at least 15-30 minutes before eating breakfast or drinking coffee.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality Himalayan pink salt, not regular table salt. You can also add 1/2 tsp of apple cider vinegar or a pinch of cayenne for extra benefits. Drink consistently every morning for best results.
