- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Gently unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Lightly roll it out to about 1/8-inch thickness if needed.
- Spread a thin, even layer of strawberry jam over the entire surface of the puff pastry.
- Carefully fold the pastry sheet in half over the filling and press gently. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the hearts. You may re-roll the scraps once to cut out additional hearts.
- Arrange the hearts on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the egg wash. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
