- Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven and preheat to 475°F (245°C). Allow pizza dough to rest at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the Italian sausage, breaking it up, until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
- On a floured surface, stretch or roll the dough into a 12-inch circle. Place on parchment paper.
- Brush the dough with olive oil. Top with shredded mozzarella, cooked sausage, crumbled feta, and sliced red onion.
- Transfer the pizza on parchment to the preheated stone or sheet. Bake for 10-14 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with optional red pepper flakes, and garnish with fresh basil. Slice and serve hot.

Notes
For a crispier crust, bake the pizza directly on the preheated stone without parchment paper for the last 2-3 minutes.
Hot honey adds a delicious sweet and spicy kick that elevates the pizza.
Let the pizza rest for a minute or two before slicing to allow the cheese to set.
