- Pour 1 cup of marinara sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker. Place chicken breasts in a single layer over the sauce. Sprinkle evenly with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the rest of the marinara sauce over the seasoned chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Preheat your oven's broiler. Carefully transfer the cooked chicken breasts from the slow cooker to a broiler-safe baking dish.
- Top each chicken breast with a generous layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. In a small bowl, combine the Panko breadcrumbs and melted butter, then sprinkle this mixture over the cheese.
- Place the baking dish under the broiler for 2-3 minutes. Watch very closely until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
- Serve immediately over pasta, zucchini noodles, or with your favorite sides.
