Prepare the Filling
- In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the finely diced strawberries until evenly distributed throughout the white filling.
Assemble the Wontons
- Place 1 tbsp (15g) of filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Wet the edges with water.
- Fold diagonally into a triangle, pressing firmly to seal and remove air bubbles inside.
Fry and Serve
- Heat oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry wontons in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until deep-fried golden brown with visible bubbles.
- Drain on a wire rack and dust heavily with powdered sugar while still warm.
