- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll pizza dough into a 10x14-inch rectangle. Transfer dough to the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the 2 tablespoons of flour evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Layer with provolone cheese, ham, pepperoni, shredded mozzarella, bell peppers, and red onion.
- Starting from a long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the seam and ends firmly to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Whisk egg and 1 tablespoon of water. Brush over the stromboli. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan. Cut 4-5 diagonal slits across the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until deep golden brown.
- Let the stromboli rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes
Don't Overfill: Too many fillings can cause the stromboli to burst while baking.
Seal It Tight: A proper seal is crucial to keep the cheese and fillings inside.
Let It Rest: Allowing it to rest before slicing helps the cheese set and prevents the fillings from spilling out.
