Preparing and Baking
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, toss the pleated dumplings gently with the neutral oil until fully coated.
- Arrange the oiled dumplings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they do not touch. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until they have perfectly golden-brown, blistered edges.
- While the dumplings bake, combine the creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl. Whisk vigorously while slowly adding the warm water until the sauce is thick and glossy.
- Transfer the baked dumplings to a white ceramic rectangular plate in a single layer. Generously drizzle the warm-tan peanut sauce over the top, then scatter with toasted white sesame seeds and chopped green scallions.

Notes
Tip 1: Do not thaw frozen dumplings before baking, as they will become soggy and fail to blister.
Tip 2: If your peanut sauce looks dull, vigorously whisk in another teaspoon of hot water to restore the glossy emulsion.
