  • 1 cup unsalted butter Divided and melted slowly.
  • 1/4 cup chunky minced garlic Freshly chopped, do not use jarred.
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika For the deep orange-red color.
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning Use your favorite salt-free or low-sodium blend.
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes Adjust to desired heat level.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper specks Coarsely ground.
  • 1/4 cup fresh green parsley Chopped finely for garnish.
  • 1/2 lemon fresh lemon Squeezed for juice off the heat.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Place your black cast iron skillet over medium-low heat. Add the unsalted butter and allow it to melt slowly until it is glossy and gently bubbling.
  2. Add the chunky minced garlic to the bubbling butter. Stir continuously for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
  3. Sprinkle in the smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, red chili flakes, and black pepper specks. Stir vigorously until the butter turns a deep orange-red color.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat. Squeeze the juice from the lemon half directly into the hot butter and stir to combine. Sprinkle the fresh chopped green parsley evenly over the top.
